Cherishing Memories: A Tribute to My Agility Partner Flyer

Say what you will about AI, but today iPhotos reminded me of running Flyer for the last time at a big event. That filled me with joy. But it also makes me so grateful for two friends without whom it wouldn’t have happened.
Maybe it is my realizing how many times I’ve gone around the sun, but more and more often I’m reminded of how fortunate I have been and how people have helped me in my life.
Without years of training with Dana Pike and so much dedication and treatment by Dr. Lisa Woodside, Flyer and I wouldn’t have made it to the Veteran’s Final for Flyer’s wonderful retirement present. I definitely cried then with gratitude. Heck, I’m getting choked up now. 🥲
I’m sure I’ve said it before, but take a moment to contact/thank someone who helped and supported you 🥰
