Let's Play "Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda"!

Let’s play “Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda”! You know, the game where you look back at a run and see what the outcome could have been if you had made different choices.
Spark and I had two runs where we can easily play this game. The first was Biathlon Jumping. I ass-u-me’d he’d come with me after my blind cross coming out of the final tunnel… but, he saw the line to the off course and grabbed it. Fortunately his path took about the same time as the real course. So I pulled his time from the video and if I woulda handled it correctly we coulda been in 20th place in 20” and we coulda gone to the finals! 😆
Similarly in Masters Final Jumping, I shoulda given Spark some turning cues in the final straight tunnel, he woulda turned to the back side sooner (and not slid into the off course long jump), and his 35.806 time coulda given us a 9th place! Though our E in Masters Final Agility, on one of my least liked courses of the week, would have kept us out of the finals.
Oh, one more, let’s pretend he hit both his contacts in Open Agility! His time woulda moved us up from 36th place to 7th place.
So to brag some more on my little man he also had some real scores:
- Snooker 3rd place
- Gamblers Final 16th place
- Games Overall 5th place
- Winner Take All Jumping 15th place
- Open Agility 36th place (2 faults)
Geez, even without playing shoulda, woulda, coulda he had an amazing week at a big competition running against some amazing teams! 🥰
