Breaking Connection in Action

Sad and Happy! Watch me screw up Spark’s UKI Master Series run at the second obstacle. Remember when I posted about what breaking connection looks like? Well here is another prime example. I sent Spark over jump one with a wrap command and never reconnected with him. I just ass-u-me-d he would take the AF; he followed my motion and took the off course tunnel. You can see l’m already looking ahead to obstacle 3. SMH.

That’s the kind of situation where Snap! would cover my mistake for me. Spark’s a very honest “little” guy! I sent him off course later in the run also, but very happy that he is reading my cues! He handled the other challenges in the course beautifully!!!

The other very happy part of the run were all of his contacts. His running contacts can be dependent of the equipment and its surface. On his first run over the contacts he started each a little tentatively and then accelerated. On this second run he looked much more like he does in practice. Very, very, happy with him!!
