Looking for a great practice course for this weekend? Stacie Cwik shared her class course with all the weave entry/exit handling options, threadle wraps/slices, and back sides. I’ll put this in a blog post soon to talk about the handling options. But for now let’s just look at handling 1-4. I’ve thrown together some diagrams with handler paths and I’ll add some handling text to each image. Of course we should all be able to #handlealltheways ENJOY!
Front, rear, or blind cross on the weave entry and fade from the weaves to support the backside at jump 4. Lead out or run with your dog depending on your relative speeds.
Forward send to the weave entry and then blind cross the weave exit and push to the back side.
Send to tunnel and handle the weave entry from the other side of the weaves. You can go part way down the weaves or go all the way to the entry and show your dog the weave etnry. Then just follow your dog’s weave as far as necessary and push to the backside of 4.
