A New Puppy for Rufus

So this is happening! Nancy’s Petey passed way earlier this year. Her Rufus always found confident Petey a calming presence and Rufus has been a little at odds since Petey’s passing.

As soon as we saw the pictures of this adorable youngster last week we had to meet him. On meeting him he is cute, confident, and independent. He and Rufus got along right away and the puppy was looking to get him to play within minutes.

Apparently this little guy was in a pet store and when he got “too old” they were going to euthanize him. Fortunately, a helpful chain of people heard about him and he was ultimately transported here.
